@O3jfrye⁩ ⁦@AMBS_Kernan⁩ here is where today’s game is….. you have a pitcher throwing high 90s to a right handed hitter, away. No way is he going to pull him, and you have the 1st baseman 30 feet off the line. In the 9th inning no less

You know what you can do to your pitch counts, 3rd time thru order, load management, and innings limit.

On June 14, 1974, Nolan Ryan worked 13 innings while walking 10 batters and striking out 19. Pitch count: 235. Sadly, due to this unforgivable act of managerial irresponsibility, Ryan was only able to strike out 4,369 more batters after that start.

There were more 3-pointers made last year in the NBA than in the ENTIRE DECADE OF THE 80s. Go watch a mid-80s Lakers-Celtics game and then come back and tell me it wasn’t way more entertaining than this glorified Pop-A-Shot they call basketball today.

great article!!!!!! "Flyballs account for the highest percentage of bated ball outcomes with the lowest outcome for a base hit of any kind. Conversely, the least frequent outcome with the highest average for success is the line drive." hit the back of the cage kids

4-42 shooting 3 pointers. Let that sink in. I’m no math major, but that’s less than 10 percent. This is what basketball has turned into, nerd hoops

Celtics just went 4-for-42 from 3. Four for forty two. That’s almost impossible to do.

After Packers game was over, boxing came on Fox Network. With Brian Kenny doing the play by play. Best Christmas gift would be him never doing anything baseball ever again. Who’s with me?

Will ALWAYS value the kid with gap to gap power who hits for average over the kid with occasional leave the yard pop who can’t hit his weight. ALWAYS
