What an incredible performance from these two in the 4th XI yesterday 🤯. Rory Delves ending on an outstanding 204* off just 129 balls, with Tom Nicholls also getting himself 112 off just 55 balls, leading the 4’s to a total of 389 👏

Everyone at the club passes on its deepest condolences to Sheila, his widow and his wider family & friends.

Its no understatement that Andy was one of the best players ever to play for the Bensons and was instrumental in keeping the club afloat after we were left homeless by the local council. He worked tirelessly to provide wickets at various sites before we were able find a new home.

It's with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Andy Dindar at the weekend. Andy was a Vice President, x-player/captain & committee member of our club, which he joined after a professional career with Gloucestershire & then minor counties with Hertfordshire & Berkshire.
