There’s a Town policy regarding Enterprise Funds. It discourages funds from 1 area being used for another. “Couldn’t the town amend this policy to make available other funding sources? Ex. The recently passed half a billion creating splashpads Pickleball courts.” @azfamily (2/2)

A first time for everything: Tonight after @azfamily requested an interview with Town of Gilbert Mayor, I signed up for public comment - Putting our questions out in the open. This part I asked: “Are there any other options to cover the cost besides rate increases & fees?”(1/2)

@azfamily NEW: Town of Gilbert said it will be hosting listening session with Town Officials within the next 30-60 days regarding water bills. - These meetings will allow people to ask questions - Town Council will also respond No dates set yet. @azfamily

BREAKING: Due to public comments, Town of Gilbert is hiring a 3rd party contractor to do an audit to verify accuracy of the meters. - Results will be made public - Public works said this “ensures transparency” @azfamily
