CONGRATULATIONS MIKEY MURPHY. THE FIRST JUNIOR TO REACH SCRATCH IN THE HISTORY OF THE CLUB. AFTER TODAYS COMPETITION , HIS NEW HANDICAP IS + .3.
We are so proud of you Mikey !!!!
Covid messed up our schedule in the past two years & eventually Stephen May received his ‘20 Golfer of the Year Trophy. In the modern era he and his father Pat are the only Father & Son to achieve this feat 🏌🏾🙌
How proud are we of this young member of our club. Mikey Murphy who has just turned 16 plays off a handicap of 1. He regularly wins the gross prize at our 18 Hole Tuesday Opens.
He scored a 5 under 61 in Corballis Links , Donebate recently equalling their course record. Congrats
Our course is looking immaculate. This is due to great green keepers, a group of regular volunteers & the purchase by the members of a new fleet of machinery.
This evening we bid farewell to Roy Butler who has been our head green keeper for over 10 years. A 9 hole competition will be followed by a presentation at 8.30pm. We will all miss you Roy but you are leaving us a course that is in A1 condition. Best wishes to you & your family.
Congratulations once again to Mickey Murphy who won the Junior competition this morning with 48pts which was a 4 under par gross. Mickey's new handicap is 6.
