Have you ever used a kakivak? This traditional Inuit fishing spear is expertly designed for spearing fish in Arctic waters. At a recent ARF elder-youth camps, participants learned to make and use them—keeping skills and stories alive.

Meet the dedicated team behind Naurvik - the community-led food production system in Gjoa Haven. Meaning "the growing place" in Inuktitut, the facility utilizes repurposed shipping containers to grow a variety of crops, including lettuce, strawberries, and mint.
