Do I feel badly that Sia was suicidal after the backlash for Music? Yes. Do I feel just as badly for the autistic person originally slated to play Music who was tossed away because Sia didn't couldn't handle working with an autistic lead? Oh yes. I feel for the ppl she harmed.

Sia was told in great detail why Music was harmful, was told about the problems with the austism speaks org, was told in detail how this ridiculous project was harming others and she did not care. She wanted everyone to shut up and watch Her project. She knew she was harming ppl.

If you feel for Sia, that's fine. We can't forget all the harm she did, everything involved in the making of Music, her backlash to the #Autism communities, et al. Don't forget all the people harmed by her actions. This isn't about "cancelling" people that's ridiculous.

There will always be anonymous trolls on social media, but that wasn't who Sia was dealing with in the case of Music. There was no "cancelling". You do something harmful, tell a story that isn't yours in the worst way possible where people end up hurt, that's serious.

@Aoiferocksitout This may be a very dark take, but the way her story is being presented, she’s going to end up right back in rehab. Accountability should be the front and center story.

@yashi_reitman I think you are correct. When you ignore the reason why people rightfully spoke up against Music and dig your heels in, you're not going to grow as a person, not going to help yourself, not going to do anything good for anyone. Crying cancelled doesn't help the issues.

@Aoiferocksitout This is not about an autistic lead. The entire movie misrepresented nonspeakers. IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE BETTER WITH AN AUTISTIC LEAD.

@AtmnR @kathygriffin @EricMGarcia @Communica1st were in communication with Sia's team directly and provided feedback with the intention to collaborate. Sia's team cut short the communication completely with no explanation. The press releases are here:

@Aoiferocksitout @Nayelia_SGN Has she at all considered how many people's mental health was negatively effected by her behavior? Or was she just reacting to having to hear criticism?

@Mae_DayJ @Nayelia_SGN All kinds of the latter. If she can't be real about what she did, nothing will change.

@Aoiferocksitout I think one of the "worst" part of it, is that her story keep changing. She tried to hire an autistic actor but couldn't work with them, but then she said she "Always wrote the role with maddie in mind", and now it was made for her friend? Something doesn't add up
