This is another disgraceful lie from Labor, who are relying on scare tactics to distract from their failures. UCCs will be bulk billed under the Coalition - That has never been in doubt. We are even rolling out more UCCs to restore bulk billing which has plummeted under Labor.

Only a Dutton Coalition Government will make mental health a national priority and ensure all Australians have access to the support they need and deserve.

We welcome Labor’s backing of our successful Head to Health model, but we condemn the fact that they have spent millions of taxpayer dollars simply rebranding these centres to take credit for them.

To set the record straight - Labor’s Medicare Mental Health centres are rebranded Head to Health centres, which were established by the former Coalition Government.

Labor has also refused to establish a National Institute for Youth Mental Health, which Peter Dutton announced in the Budget in Reply. This will allow Australia to deliver a world-leading focus on youth mental health, including how best to respond to workforce issues.

Labor is still refusing to restore the Medicare mental health sessions they ripped away from 372,000 vulnerable Australians. This is unacceptable.
