Shocking to see disparity in ARC DECRAs in engineering to men and women growing over the last 5 years. This despite strong numbers of female PhD grads, ROPE considerations, targeted support schemes. Much more work needed. Thank you for the analysis @purton_louise @GaetanBurgio.
ARC DECRA Engineering outcomes are here👇🏻. The men were big winners (they were awarded the majority of the DECRA funding). Significantly fewer women funded each yr (P<0.01). Note the increase in 2023 is due to discontinuation of Technology field which mainly moved to Engineering.
