With over 16 classification systems, osteoradionecrosis (ORN) has been a challenging RT-related toxicity to diagnose and manage. I’m excited to share the multidisciplinary ORAL Consortium’s consensus guidelines on standardized data capture to enhance interoperability & diagnosis!

After sitting in study section last week reviewing proposals for K-series career development awards, thought I'd list my top 5 reasons why such proposals fail. (Not linked to any one submission.) Junior scientists who might be interested in applying - avoid these pitfalls!!

Shout out to boss man @cd_fuller for providing a fantastic virtual faculty Socratic session to MDA residents on management of oral cavity cancers while apparently being on a beach with a beautiful sunset background! 🥳🥳

3) Staring at CDF’s imaging informatics tweets for extended periods of time may cause mental paralysis due to their indisputable complexity. I encourage others to share such facts to finally prove my theory😉

Does anyone else agree that @cd_fuller is the Chuck Norris of Twitter academia? Here are the facts: 1) CDF knows about scientific tweets b4 they’re tweeted. And then he’ll tweet you so you‘ll know. 2) The only man that can beat CDF @ an academic twitter gif game is CDF himself.

This is why medical students in 2020 are complaining about burnout and the extreme burden of doing well on #USMLE. Each year #step1 board exams get harder: more material, tougher competition, longer dedicated study time, higher minimum score to pass.
