When Baby Joey wanted 50%, that was probably 100% of the investment because Gorga's don't have the capital to invest in anything. Their credit's already over extended & she spends like a drunken sailor on herself. It sounds like extortion.

That doesn't make any sense... if Louie gave Joe $250k, then Joe would be the owner and give a percentage of the company in return for the investment... if Louie is in charge, then he would give Joe a percentage but he wouldn't also give him money

Depends on the agreement. If someone puts up the funds and someone else does all of the work, then 5% is not a fair deal, period.

If Joe only had 5%, whatever happened cannot be blamed on him because the people who had more shares in the business would have been making the decisions. You don't see the Tom's making all the decisions on TomTom. They put in their opinions, but Lisa and Ken make the decisions

I think Teresa means, Louie was going to invest 5% by the advice of his lawyer but Joe Jorge wanted Louie to invest 50%. That makes sense with the amount of money Louie lost.
