Thanks to the @AuralApothecary podcast team for hosting me last night. We discussed the low level of awareness of the medical community of the ultimate fate of medicines. Reflecting on this, I wonder whether it is now time to add an 'E' (environment) at the end of ADME?

I had an enjoyable day hosting Dr Lei Wang, Dr Feng Ge and Dr Bing Zhang from the Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences. We had some great discussions about the research of both organisations. Hopefully this will be the first of many interactions.
