Encouraging people to not imitate Aaron Bushnell, but be inspired by his courage- with an added emphasis on active duty military to act in defiance against the genocide and imperialism

A moving act of solidarity as veterans burn their uniforms at a vigil for Aaron Bushnell hosted by veterans against war. This was after some extremely moving speeches, including a Vietnam War veteran who was a part of the SDS and did a lot of anti-war organizing.

While what happened to Aaron Bushnell is heartbreaking, this was by no means a somber vigil. There were sad moments, but the energy was high as at least 6 speakers who were all veterans used their time to remember Aaron Bushnell and empower the crowd to act-

@AlissaAzar Why shouldnt they imitate him if what he did was just, moral, and heroic?

@AlissaAzar Well yah. Self Immolation is a terrible way to go. And if we do that, that it. We can't change anything after the fact. It best to be alive and try to make changes than sacrificing one self. Also, if we do need to self sacrifice. I dont want young men and women to do that.

@AlissaAzar Actually, if people are truly inspired they should try and emulate him, or else risk not being taken seriously. Do not, however, fall into the trap of using a fossil fuel, when electricity is the new pathway.

@AlissaAzar I was inspired by how well he came to a light fluffy crust that would make a soufflé chef jealous. Bon Appétit comrades!
