After a pattern of attacking drag queen events on social media, it’s no surprise that Andy Ng* soon latched onto this one and the hatred and threats began immediately. Andy is notorious for manifesting violence through his online incel followers.

people on the fash side keep shouting threats, saying things like “i hope things pop off just wait.” the same guy that shouted this just made his way thru the crowd on this side trying to instigate violence. as of now the only cop in sight is across the street up on an overpass

the distance between the front lines of each side has dramatically decreased in size, some folks appear the be engaged in conversation as others are chanting “go home nazis!”

It’s incredible how many people turned out today to defend the performers and keep the community safe. As the fash were retreating they were extremely prepared- some even excited- for the potential of violence. they immediately began wielding batons and other weapons, including

some who even had their hands on their firearms ready to go. There was one point where a group of 5 or so of them grouped up & began walking forward to assault antifascists, but they were quick to retreat when they saw their other friends in the crowd all left them.

they were visibly frightened. And more good news, the owner of the pub has said that the event itself has been a complete success 🖤🏴 Incredible job y’all, and solidarity with all standing up to hateful and violent terfs, homophobes, christo fash and neo-nazis.

Indeed. They were threatening violence all fucking day, but the second they began instigating, with weapons out & all, they instantly starting getting pressed by antifascists who weren’t afraid of them, and in turn they all ran away. RCN in particular seemed to rush for an escape
