A historic moment in Chile as over 75% of Chileans voted to draft a NEW CONSTITUTION in a referendum today. The new constitution will replace the one written by the dictatorship of general Augusto Pinochet during a coup that was planned and funded by the US.

May one day America have a new constitution also, written by the people, for the people. Rather than by some wealthy slave owning white men who’ve been dead for hundreds of years

We drafted that Constitution with a pencil and our hearts, we are going to write one at the same way, one that can be sacred for us, where all of us can be included, our ethnic groups, the environment and animals have the place they deserve, this is the new Chile!!
