“What is so beautiful about a child having to carry their parent’s child?” The air went out of the arena when she said that.

Disgusted that these men are free to roam our country, raping our women and children… Look at all these WHITE faces and their ‘native’ names, all jailed for rape in the LAST MONTH. Can’t believe I missed the far-right protests about this lot. Those happened, right??

After the violence caused by the far-right this past week across the UK, it's clear that marginalised communities in this country need our support. We must not remain silent in the face of Islamophobia and racism. Please sign the petition by @hopenothate to urge MPs to

Women's Aid is devastated by the news of yesterday's attack in Southport. Our hearts go out to the children and their families. Tragic events such as these highlight the epidemic of violence against women and girls in this country that urgently needs addressing.

We know that it's overwhelmingly likely that previous incidents of violence, stalking and coercion by Kyle Clifford will come to light. And once again, the dots will be joined too late. https://t.co/VOJqOjoEhj

A woman is killed by a man every three days in the UK “Domestic” – that word that somehow doesn’t feel adequate – because terror can also happen in the home. My thoughts on the Bushey tragedy

The biggest fear for tonight’s England match is not getting through to the finals right? Wrong. For many it’s a fear of them not making it through themselves! While football doesn't cause domestic abuse it can make existing abuse more severe. Donate here: https://t.co/4UIbVFQ7ia

3 women tied up and shot with a crossbow like prey by an angry ex boyfriend, it is genuinely terrifying to live in a world with men sometimes

I’ll never be able to get my head around how some women are more interested in attacking and bringing down one another, rather than trying to bring down the system that oppresses them. Internalised misogyny is a very, very dangerous thing.

Did @joeandthejuice not realise Nick Kyrgios admitted assaulting his girlfriend last year when they decided to create a 'Nick Kyrgios shake' called "The Big Smash"? Hope they geuninely did not know, the idea of this being a marketing tactic is sickening.

There is little chance his guilty plea escaped the BBC's attention, yet they are giving him a platform where he will be celebrated as a sporting personality.

On average one woman is killed every week by a current or ex-partner. Football doesn’t cause domestic abuse, but existing abuse can increase in frequency and severity @GoFundMeUK will match the first £5,000. https://t.co/4UIbVFQ7ia

Grenfell residents were charged £618.09 by Kensington and Chelsea Council for the cleaning of a memorial to those who died in the fire which killed 72 people. Leaseholders discovered the fees after requesting to see their service charge invoices. Sickening

We are incredibly concerned about the City Council’s justification for closing Bournemouth’s only women’s refuge. Survivors need safe accommodation and our data shows there is already a 22% shortfall in the recommended number of refuge spaces in England. https://t.co/xtBMvO9LPJ
