Bait post aside, back in high school (2007) I practiced CP using Pascal, so everything had to be written from scratch Asked my IT teacher how to do sort. He didn’t know. Internet was a luxury Took me hours to 'invent' bubble sort myself. Still one of the best feelings ever

🌍 LLMs often reflect WEIRD (Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, Democratic) values. But do survey-based methods really make them culturally aware? 📢 Our new paper, "From Surveys to Narratives", shows that surveys blur, while narratives recover cultural distinctiveness.

Our best team solved 11 out of 12 problems, even better than the official leaderboard’s rank 1 But we also know other unofficial teams from NUS solved all 12. Overall a good result, but still room to improve
