Stockton, CA police are now investigating the Sikh 7-Eleven workers for assault. They were seen in the viral video beating the shoplifter who threatened them with a weapon. The shoplifter previously robbed the business twice.

Well I think if you are ransacking (the workers I’m sure spent hours cleaning and stocking) a man’s livelihood that he’s probably saved every penny for you might get hurt in the process.

Third and fourth party private security will be the future in Los Angeles with the current "leadership". A security guard could choke a thief out, then leave, and the company would have an endless trail of paperwork to find who they hired that day. Just a thought.

This is California's ideology where the suspect is treated like a victim and the victim like the suspect. This has become the norm. Who didn't think this would happen? I was waiting for the store owners to be charged. I've lost all faith in the judicial process!

Probably because the one causing a physical assault has insurance, and the robber probably doesn’t.
Probably because he can reorder stolen merchandise, and the robber can’t exactly reverse a head injury.
