Mass shooters start by abusing their partners. If we held them accountable for DV so many lives would be saved.
A 2020 analysis of 749 mass shootings found that 60% were either domestic violence attacks or committed by men with histories of domestic violence. The higher the casualty count, the more likely the perpetrator had a history of violence against women.

Mass shooters are often DV abusers first. Lawmakers who support gun safety must stand up against DV too. I expect House leaders to call SB1091 next week and fight for it. It passed the Senate 35-1. Let’s get it done! @SteveStafstrom @Matt_Blumenthal @MomsDemand
