My study of Muslim representation in Rajya Sabha reveals that MUSLIM ELITES were accommodated by all parties including BJP. The Muslim representation in the House remains around 9% since 1952 This representation however hasn't have any significant impact on lives of Muslims

@Ahmed1Hilal @asadowaisi Muslims have been giving votes to Cong. Why in the world you would select Rahul Gandhi from a Muslim majority area.

@Ahmed1Hilal You will also observe that these parties always tend to nominate Muslims with no political standing in RS or legislative councils in states..this way they show off the numbers and fend off future challengers.. #SarkariMusalman

@Ahmed1Hilal For God's sake Hilal bhai, let's stop talking about Hindu Muslim. Let's talk of all Indians who are disenfranchised. When will you? Look at other Muslim countries where there is so much rift and conflict. Think how lucky we all Indians are! Give a thought.

@Ahmed1Hilal Yes but who to blame ? Parties whome they vote have only created this fear if they vote for BJP something wrong will happen. I m not BJP supporter but what wrong has happened in last 7 year, no more riots, few incidents for which state should take responsibility n action on them.

@Ahmed1Hilal My study of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Tribal, SC representation in the Sansad reveals that these mostly elite representatives of their tribes haven't had any significant impact on 80% of the Indian masses. We remain as divided, and deprived as we were in 1947.

@Ahmed1Hilal @asadowaisi And will also not impact till 2052 if they will use as only vote bank of caste by its misguided leaders .They have to keep aside this religion word to come in main steam instead of puppet of leaders who only use them n earn huge money for them and own family.

@Ahmed1Hilal @asadowaisi This shows that the elite people Didn't/Couldn't do much for their own societies. This could be an indicator on their election to lower houses as well ? The problem lies in community feeling of accommodating others to help them with their goals.

@Ahmed1Hilal @asadowaisi When we speak of fraternity we just need people who can sensitise with needs of every section, what good a muslim MP can do if he has no intention to do any good. We need kind-hearted people in parliament, not like egoistic self-centred immoral leadership which we now have.

@Ahmed1Hilal @asadowaisi The significant impacts on lives of Muslims in India can happen only when the Mullahs and Masjids start educating on how to control birth rate.

@Ahmed1Hilal @asadowaisi What impact can there be: • When u insist on Personal Laws in place of UCC • When u prefer Madrasah over inclusive modern edn • When u want to eulogise Jinnah n keep him as an icon in AMU • No population control

@Ahmed1Hilal One of the reason may be was only a handful muslim elites were nominated for RS. Muslim political leadership still lacks the grassroot understanding of indian political system.
