My mother, a proud practising Muslim (NOT A SECULARIST) had a firm belief that Janmashtami Day would always have rain around midnight because Lord Krishna was born at that moment.
Like Gandhi, I can also say that THIS IS MY HINDUISM that mother taught me.
#Janmashtami
@ziahaq
Thanks. I DON'T have a problem chanting Jai Shree Ram as a survival strategy in a crisis situation. Yet, it won't affect my respect for the extraordinary figures--RAM, KRISHNA, JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GANDHI,MARX
@Ahmed1Hilal
Good to hear.Thanks for your good thoughts.
Only thing is " Mutual respect on other's religion,festivals.
Let Hindus ,Muslims,Christians celebrate their festivals freely and peacefully as good citizens.
@Ahmed1Hilal
That's the challange we have to tackle, we as a society somehow moving away from these beliefs even if it belongs to a another religion which we do not practice. Society is somehow inclining towards hardliners, and that has never been our culture, we have always been adaptive.

A practicing muslim may not always be a true muslim but vice versa is true. As a true muslim, one must believe that Allah SWT, the One True Lord & Creator of entire multiverses & beyond, controls & decides everything from creations to sustenance to death to resurrection.

Mr Hilal I am a love Jihadi married a hindu girl 22years back I go to the Temple more than Gurudwara, my better half goes to Gurudwara more than Temple. My Son recites Shabad does Arti and becomes Shri Krishna on every Janmashtami. Happy Janmashtami to one and all

Ask ur mother to repent and say kalima e shahadah.
let her Read Quran and understand Not a leaf falls down from any tree but will Allah's permission.
And There is no god but Allah ta'la.
@Ahmed1Hilal
My mother too a staunch Hindu and firm in her beliefs, loves the practice of Muslims bowing down in glory of Allah on Jaanamaaz. She often quotes that no matter how rich a Muslim you are, you have to lay your Jaanamaaz. Even Akbar, the great did this.
@Ahmed1Hilal
By n large majority of people of both sides r like this, but majority of people can't stop unpleasant incidents on very negligible people of both sides
@Ahmed1Hilal
People wd stand by “Deen-o-dil” by far if Religions do not create n exploit fissures.
Do we need to celebrate that we can accommodate each other irrespective of our religion? Shd it not be a given?
I for one want us to shun all religion. World wd be a better place without them.
