Happy #pride! Despite the work that has been done and the progress that has been made, LGBTQIA2S+ people in our community are still unsafe in places they should be welcome. Agate continues to advocate for our staff and those we serve who are part of the queer community.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth. It is a commemoration of the day in 1865 when news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, TX. Two years later. On Juneteenth, & every day, we recommit ourselves to the work of equity, equality, & justice.

Studies of the state of homelessness continue to show that there are not enough shelter beds for our unhoused neighbors. Housing is a human right and our neighbors need your help to ensure it's available to all.

Gerri lived outside in Boise. She knows that her experience of homelessness does not make her a criminal. As Justice Sotomayor asked during the #JohnsonVGrantsPass hearing, where will the homeless population go if every city in the country lacks compassion? #HousingNotHandcuffs
