In my opinion, foreign aid is just a way of advertising to the third world that "Oh look we have too much money to give away, please come to us we'll give it to you for free!".
I would cut the foreign aid budget to zero - nothing. If MPs want to approve certain projects, they should put their name to it through a specific vote. Other than that? Sorry, it's not our problem - we have enough of them in Britain to be dealing with. Scrap foreign aid.
