Yesterday my students completed the money roll 3 Act Task to begin exploring what it means to get a remainder when dividing. They had so much fun and asked some pretty interesting questions! @MikeFlynn55

5th graders have been hard at work practicing volume. They were faced with the task of designing a cake that serves 180-200 people. Each serving had to be 6 cubic in. & they had to calculate total volume as well as dimensions & volume of each tier. They surpassed my expectations!
