The thing I’m noticing about the switch is that don’t feel compelled to evangelize people to Obsidian. It is powerful because of my own ideas, not because of other people being on there. There are lots of reasons I’m excited about this, other people converting is not one.

I am in the process of actively switching from Notion to Obsidian. I’m not saying it’s exclusively because of their icon design, but I’m also not not saying it played a role.
