So true! My greatest adventures (personal and professional) have remained grounded in times when I committed to the jump without regard a for a packed chute. Hard to turn back when your committed to what's in front of you.

Determine and commit to what really matters (talking to myself), then...dream. design. deliver.

So many interesting angles to this metaphor with the simple reminder of "shipping." As a designer of everything/anything it's a fresh lens on getting it on the water to see if it floats, the rest will be improved, but the foundation is critical.

If you wait until you feel ready to take on a new challenge, you might never pursue it at all. Few people wake up suddenly feeling prepared to lead or create. They become prepared by taking the leap anyway. Our greatest regrets are not our failures, but our failures to try.
