I reviewed two grants today, my first one on the new UKRI funding service and one for an internal review process by a overseas University (so their internal system). Three guesses which was easier to use, even after passing through Goggle Translate. #bringbackJeS.

This was a really positive event run by our chemistry PhD students and staff - a great introduction to the important role chemistry will play in the energy transition and also our new Science Teaching Hub facility.
We welcomed school pupils from across the north-east to our Science Teaching Hub for a series of sessions held in celebration of #chemistryweek 2023 - highlighting the role of chemistry in the energy transition and promoting careers in #STEM @RoySocChem
