Some Sundancer on Brown manured vetch. 175mm YTD, 80-90mm December, 30mm post Brown out in October. Should help the av vs crop on crop.

Some paddocks of Sundancer getting very close. Just waiting on some greener areas.

Field peas still ticking away. Then the wooden spoon paddock of wheat for 2025 as shown in previous posts, still trying somewhat I guess.

Keeping things real. Sunmaster, both establishing after May 22nd rain. One 18month fallow, other after a 4t crop last year following vetch. Only 5km apart. 140mm YTD. Failing crop on other side of paddock maybe 1t/ha better due to a harvest storm in 2024.

Sundancer filling away, hopefully enough moisture to get it finished. Rain would be nice but not looking likely. 157mm YTD on 18month fallow. @agtbreeding

Field peas are looking better than some of the Wheat. Quick squeeze in of #MiravisStar before 🤞a rain. #Twilight, hopefully get to try some #APB_Bondi in 2026.

It is getting real. Cut off from brown manured vetch and vetch going to grain. Moisture stress taking its toll and this wet spring better come quick. The shine is coming off.

A year where small differences and rotation make a big difference toward the end. 3 different rotations and the one majorly struggling 15mm less GSR wheat on back of above av crop. Wheat following BM vetch. Then an exceptional area of a paddock on 18month fallow.

Pretty well done. No boys weekend, just brownie points and kids that are alive 😂. Second house, with chooks in the other and now Bin’s fancy geese in this one. Fox safety. Thermal becoming a cheaper idea.

Post-em on some #Sundancer. @agtbreeding. Got some up early and some late. Be interesting spread. May grab that late October rain on the late.

Day is going well. Extended long weekend building a goose/chicken pen. Well look at that, struck water. Smack in the middle. Got to love understanding water systems put in by someone else. Easiest way to find them is put more pens up.

Sunmaster on its way after 28mm over two events 10-14days ago. Really liking the emergence of dry sown crops with Pyroxasulfone, with Trifluralin still showing some small symptoms. More price reductions, now pyroxasulfone off patent, is increasing area fast on my marginal farm.

Getting down to the pointy end of #plant25. Shift change. Sent the old man home and on I jump for a couple of hours. 78 and still loves it when he is rehired. Loves the grease gun more than the average driver. Knows how to work.

That is the end of today’s innings. 5mm and counting where I need to sow, on top of 24mm Thursday. Games changed from dust to mud. Thankful to see rain.

🤞 🌧️. This crop sown before Anzac fizzer struggling on heavier soil after just a random 5mm on top that started it off. Different soil textures showing up as patchy establishment. Clock is ticking for these seeds. Grains still quite full with energy, just add water. #sow25
