Does parathyroidectomy preserve kidney function in primary hyperparathyroidism? In our new @AnnalsofIM study, RCT emulation showed that preservation of kidney fxn should not be a primary consideration for treatment decisions in older adults but is relevant to pts younger than 60

Last three #colorectalcancer interventions published in @NEJM: 665 pts with mets and BRAF-mutation -> 9 vs 5.4 mo survival, 307 pts with mets and MSI-H-dMMR -> 16.5 vs 8.2 mo survival, 84585 participants at average risk -> 50% reduction in cancer-related death at 10 yrs!
