Yea in America,it was know in the 2000s long before did global music festivals hosting a diff country each year.LatAmerica is where KPOP blew up in 2000,BoA in Japan, SuJu,BigBang,SHINee,EXO in UK/LatAm.USA is just catching on.

There is a very very big difference in Doing shows and trying to break in and actually successfully breaking the walls,,

Gen1+2 putted Kpop in the map, too. World isn't only West. Before BTS debuted, many seniors brought Kpop to "East", made "East" become strong area for Kpop. Then some almost touched West, one hit wonder is still a hit. Kpop had cases to study. KCON 2014 didn't suddenly appeared,
