football players wear shirts in support of teammate Jonathan Sutherland before game against
#Iowa
The shirts from

read "Chains, tattoos, dreads and WE ARE." Safety Jonathan Sutherland, received a racist letter, criticizing his hair.
#WeAre
#PSU
Penn State personnel confiscated the shirts from the players while warming up.
According to Holly Rowe (

"We asked our students to remove the shirts out of an abundance of caution for NCAA compliance." Penn State said in a statement released during the game.

IF, IF, IF Penn State did not publicly speak out against the letter from that alum, why would black players want to play for that school?
Know your power.

The shirts show weakness. Strong people don’t fret and obsess over criticism, especially from some random person who doesn’t seem to be particularly sharp. Rally over what? Man up and move on. It was one person’s opinion, if it was even a legit letter.

I get what they are doing but they gave that 1 letter so much power over them. 1 person trolling made it to TV that was most likely just trying to do that.
