1113 @Se_Railway @NetworkRailLBG to Ashford. On time, clean and warm. Toilets shiny with hot water, soap and warm drier! Bingo! No complaints. .

Off to Deal, Kent for weekend @NetworkRailLBG still looks good, clean, lots of info and visible staff. Ticket @Se_Railway? Yes, dared to opt for flexibility. Even with Oyster 60+ and senior rail card £29.15 off peak return. Still more than petrol.

Amazing. First view many got of Leeds as you left station was busy, aggressive and polluting road. It's gone! Walking and cycling much improved. Well done @WestYorkshireCA @transportgovuk . cannot find city council handle so maybe someone could help?

What is not to like? Overbridge @welcomebreak Toddington services on @NationalHways M1. Epic drive to Leeds to take daughter and stuff back to Uni. Yesterday rain, @TfL London gridlocked and heavy traffic in motorway roadworks. 7 hours with stops. Today back better.

Very good handling of minor delays @SW_Help slow running train in front delaying 1108 Clapham Junction to Feltham. Guard made clear series of announcements about when we will pull into Richmond plus gave reason why. That's the way to do it!

Witnessed really tight loading @NetworkRailBHM @CrossCountryUK about 1403 today train just didn't look long enough! It departed very late.
