EPs know how damaging physical punishment can be for children. Polls from @NSPCC showed 90% of social workers, 77% of health professionals, 75% of teachers & 51% of police think that law in England should change to ban physical punishment against children.

The AEP are part of this crucial campaign to protect children from physical violence. We are calling for this protection to be to be legislation in England by including this in the Children's Wellbeing & Schools Bill, which has its second reading in the @UKHouseofLords today 📜.
