This path is spirit led, and like the wind it flows where it wants. At best I can just make myself a larger target for it to land. It seems I’m being asked to turn to God in all things.. Not as an abstract idea, more a posture of appreciation.

This Christ centered oath surely disarming. I came in very skilled I know lots of techniques, and frames. Yet the advisement is to simply abide in Christ… in God. The price of entry has been my humility having to start again at I don’t know.. like how do I even do that?

Can I let God love me all the way into coherence? I think thats the real question that keeps rising up in me.. I feel I am in the middle of being transformed.. It's a messy ordeal for sure lol. I look forward to this year to see who I am becoming...

A Christ centered path is less about resisting evil and more about becoming so full of Love that evil loses its grip.

The real scandal perhaps is many Christians have been taught to orbit their wounds rather than live from their healing. They end up making repentance a loop instead of a doorway.

Spiritual traditions are best critiqued from inside them. They are entire frameworks that have an internal coherence that can be missed when viewed from outside. So a Christian may baulk at howa Buddhist speaks about emptiness. Or the Buddhist may see God as unnecessary

One of the traps of a spiritual path is trying to supersede ourselves, to evict who we think we are, to wage war against it. But nothing needs to be overthrown. All that is required is held within the seeing itself.

Questions about God don’t start with concepts, but with the fact that we are aware at all. Inquiry into the name given to the depth of being itself.

The mystic must resist the urge to fold interior insights into external conclusions. Don’t settle for the shiny relative truth. Stay married to the moment. Don’t resist, (for it shall persist) just notice urge to fold what’s unfolding into something else.

People will hold onto their material beliefs which do not fully acount for their being, they will deny the existence of their own spirit... Waiting till they are near death, to see whats always been true. Death has a way of clearing away all distractions. But why wait?
