Uganda is home to more than 14m cattle and 20m sheep and goats; however, its leather industry faces significant challenges. The production of primarily raw leather leads to a loss of $273 million in potential export revenue, as finished leather products are imported instead.
Mr. Michael Kiraye, ALLPI's Capacity Development Expert, noted that the leather value chain has much higher market value than coffee. However, unlike coffee, leather is mainly managed by SMEs with less representation on national platforms. @mtic_uganda @HadyNaka @GovUganda

Another sad story brown out of proportion but a very serious concern. Facts to note; 1. Number of children vaccinated: 200 NOT 2000. 2. Number of children administered phenobarbitone : 80-100. That means the rest got the right drug 3. Number of children admitted : 44 4. Number
