Don't forget, BPOs are continuing to ship (BPO #2 went live on January 7th). Ethereum is properly scaling from every angle: - More blobs - Protocol stability / decentralization increasing - Parallel processing - Hardware requirements decreasing - Cheaper transactions for users

Reduce intrinsic transaction gas - EIP-2780 An ETH transfer costs 21,000 gas. Unchanged from Ethereum's launch in 2015. This proposal aims to reprice the average ETH transfer to 6000 gas. Not guaranteed for inclusion yet, but low hanging fruit and an easy win for the

General Repricing - EIP-7904 Ethereum opcodes have mismatched gas costs vs. real compute effort. Fix: cheap ops (ADD, SUB, MUL, etc.) cost less gas; expensive ones cost more. Result: much lower gas for typical DeFi txs. Cheaper transactions for users!

Sparse Blobpool - EIP-8070 PeerDAS was step one, but EL clients still need full blob data. This requires massive bandwidth EIP-8070 adds sampling to the blobpool: nodes fetch full blobs only ~15% of the time, sampling the rest. ~4x bandwidth reduction. Bottleneck relieved!

Block-level Access Lists (BALs) - EIP-7928 Ethereum unlocks parallel tx processing. Today: txs run one by one. 250 txs in a block? 250 sequential ops by the execution client. With BALs: processing time is limited by CPU threads on low-conflict blocks.

Enshrined Proposer-Builder Separation (ePBS) - EIP-7732 Formally separates building from proposing. - Drops MEV centralization - Eliminates relay failure point - Lowers validator performance needs Fairer, more stable blocks.
