How can a track and trace app cost £12-22 billion? How? Where and what has the money actually been spent on?

@SimonPearson961 Consultants on £3500 + VAT per day and a few IT Developers on a fraction of that.

@SimonPearson961 That's not the cost of the app, it's the cost of the whole test and trace system including logistics and labs ect .

@SimonPearson961 It simply doesn’t They haven’t had the time length to justify it also And if that is the legitimate short term cost; just imagine the long term Mind bending bullshit spending

@SimonPearson961 You can build 2 nuclear powered aircraft carriers for that, including all of their command & control software. Only fools would give emergency powers to elected politicians & expect them to control spending.

@SimonPearson961 You might also ask who is making money out of it and who stands to benefit from it in the future? How many politicians when they leave politics will end up working for one of the companies who have benefitted from this saga?

@SimonPearson961 A systematic handover of Public money to mates. Our future will forget this ever happened whilst we spend for ever trying to earn it back for them.

@SimonPearson961 Some people are making an absolute fortune out of Covid, while most of us suffer. This over reaction is more to do with money making than health.

@SimonPearson961 It does appear to be a Tory crony money spinner but is it just the app? We were told there were 1000s of people manning the phone lines to take calls. As for the app, I've never installed it. Family and friends who did have now removed it.

@SimonPearson961 @Carter7Raymond Every single phone has the ability and does track your movements unless you disable that function by choice it's done under the pretence of alerting you to traffic jams and weather warnings so tracking is already happening all they have to do is a small software upgrade!

@OldBob17 Do the maths Bob. 10,000 people employed ? £3000 each a month? That’s £270 million over 9 months. 100,000 people employed? That’s £2.7 billion Tell me what I’m missing? Did we buy it for £9 billion?
